The Organic Architecture of Flying House Point


Designed by Steven Harris Architects, Flying House Point is a beautiful nod to organic architecture. With it's prominent use of wood and all around large windows, it allows for the building to maintain a sense of modernism without sacrificing coziness. 


Steven Harris Architects was founded 1985 and specializing in private residences. The firm has received several AIA awards as well as Interior Design Best of Year in 2007, 2009, and 2010. Steven Harris, also Professor of Architecture at Yale, was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 2008.

The firm's work has been published publications such as Architectural Digest, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Elle Décor
